Asbestos Surveying
AP Health & Safety provide 3 types of survey:

| Location & assessment survey (presumptive survey) - locates the presence and extent of any suspected asbestos where safe sampling is impracticable |
Standard sampling identification & assessment survey (sampling survey) - the most common type of survey, investigating all reasonably accessible areas and taking samples of suspect materials for analysis |
Full access and identification survey (pre-demolition/major refurbishment survey) - locates all asbestos in a premises using destructive inspection and sampling where necessary. This survey aids planning for the removal of asbestos prior to demolition or major refurbishment works |
All our asbestos surveyors are fully qualifies, and all surveys are carried out in accordance with the HSE Guidance MDHS100 Surveying, Sampling and Assessment of Asbestos Containing Materials.
Development of Asbestos Policies & Management Plans
Once asbestos has been identified or presumed, AP Health & Safety provides assistance to clients in developing and implementing Asbestos Policies and Asbestos Management Plans to ensure that the risks associated with asbestos are adequately assessed and continually managed.
Asbestos Monitoring
For asbestos which is not being removed, regular monitoring of its condition is vital. Any change in the use of an area containing asbestos or deterioration of the asbestos containing material may require the risks to be re-assessed. Through regular inspections, AP Health & Safety ensures that your Asbestos Management Plan is kept up to date and your asbestos risks appropriately managed.
