New Group HR Business

AP Human Resource Solutions Limited commenced trading on 1 October 2006 as a new and exciting addition to the Group. Julie Marsden (MCIPD) has been appointed Managing Director.

Julie, who is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, ran a very successful HR business of her own for a number of years before deciding to join forces with The Andrews Group. The new company is jointly owned by Julie and Kevin Dougall and will initially operate from the Group offices in Bracknell and Southampton.

APHRS provides a comprehensive range of human resource services across a wide variety of business sectors, including education, logistics, pharmaceuticals, retailing and property.

On the launch of APHRS, Kevin Dougall commented “Julie had been providing an HR service to our business and so we knew from first hand experience just how good she was and what fun she is to work with. It seemed to us to be a logical extension to the range of consultancy services that we already offered, particularly in the health & safety arena, to compliment this with HR and I was absolutely delighted to discover that Julie was of a similar mind”.

Julie, who has just returned from carrying out Performance Management training in Houston, Texas, added “Becoming part of The Andrews Group will give the business critical mass, and this will help in achieving and sustaining growth over the next few years. Having acted as HR consultant to the Group, I had gained an intimate knowledge and understanding of its’ culture and people. Within Andrews, people are valued and the investment that the business makes in nurturing and developing its’ people is aligned to my own professional ideals. I am very excited to be working with a vibrant and meaningful company.”
